Purpose of Pleroma Women Ministry (PWM)
Pleroma Women Ministry is the extension of Pleroma Home for Girls. We serve adult women (over 18 years old) survivors from labor or human trafficking, sexual abuse or forced marriages. We provide holistic services: including spiritual nurturing, counseling and career training. The goal is for them to reintegrate into society and may live an independent life.
Vision
Counseling and rehabilitation
Provide survivors with counseling, physical and psychological rehabilitation, as well as medical and health education.
Develop independent life skills
By developing an Individual Achievement Plan (IAP), we taught survivors to strengthen their physical and mental well-being, build resilience, and receive training in life and vocational skills. This enhances their economic capacity, promotes personal growth, and helps them reintegrate into society gradually – ultimately achieving “sustainable freedom” and reducing their vulnerability to commercial exploitation.
Repatriation Services
Receive and support survivors of sex and labor trafficking from neighboring countries.
Spiritual Nurture
Demonstrate God’s love through concrete actions that bring restoration, hope, care, transformation and dignity to survivors.
Human Rights Education
Provide survivors with legal assistance and raise their awareness on human rights, anti-trafficking laws and personal safety.
Rehabilitation Assistance
Offer economic support for survivors to start small businesses, mediate family disputes, assist with applications for poverty or identity certificates, provide short-term living subsidies and resettlement aid, and improve hygiene facilities such as toilets, solar panels, and water filters.
