Spiritual formation is a lifelong journey. It involves listening to, supporting, and interceding for one another within a spiritual community; through mutual care and encouragement, we grow together in the Lord and mature in our spiritual lives.
- Giving thanks for the gatherings of SF1/SF3 students and faculty in Taipei and Malaysia
Yiqing Lin, Director of the Spiritual Formation Ministry, visited Taipei and Malaysia in July to fellowship with SF1 and SF3 students in Asia (see the two group photos). Participants not only gained a deeper understanding of the vision and ministry of the Christ’s Abundant Grace Fellowship and SFM, but—bonded by the Lord’s love—they also sincerely shared updates, blessed and prayed for one another, and witnessed together God’s wonderful guidance and abundant grace in each person’s life.
- Prayer for the Cantonese Spiritual Formation Lecture Series
SFM will host two Cantonese spiritual formation workshops between October and November, themed “Walking with the ‘I AM’ of Life” and “Following God: Starting with Silence and Solitude” (see poster for details). Please pray that the Holy Spirit prepares and moves many Cantonese-speaking brothers and sisters to sign up enthusiastically. Through the messages, meditation, and practical exercises, may they experience God’s presence and renewal more deeply, and further commit themselves to the journey of learning and practicing spiritual formation.
- Prayer for preparations for the new academic year’s courses and ministry
Preparations for the 2026–2027 academic year—including curriculum planning, faculty recruitment, administration, and various ministry activities—are currently underway. May the Lord grant wisdom, a spirit of unity, and abundant grace to ensure all arrangements align with His will. We also pray that the Lord raises up brothers and sisters who hunger to draw near to Him, inviting them to embark on this journey of spiritual formation together—so that their lives may be rooted in Christ, learning from Him and taking His yoke upon themselves, finding rest and growth in Him.
