SFM Prayer Letter February 2026

1.”Connected by Love” – Thanksgiving and Praise

Thank the Lord! The SFM Spiritual Formation Course continues to unfold steadily in grace. Participants from Asia and the US/Canada in SF3, have implemented the learning topic of “Integrating Focused Service with Spiritual Formation” through group-based integrated ministry lesson planning, drawing upon the spiritual shaping exercises they have received over the past two and a half years.

Over a month and a half of collaborative effort, eight groups practically integrated spiritual shaping exercises into integrated ministry concepts, developing reading groups, workshops, discipleship programs, and vocation programs covering historical paradigm studies, as well as aspects such as care, reconciliation, workplace, brotherhood, family, and life nurturing. These practical sharing sessions blossomed, broadening spiritual horizons and inspiring one another.

Participants deeply gave thanks, seeing how God inspires latent passion, courage, and creativity in each person’s experience; and in the process of group communication, listening to one another, and collaboratively completing lesson plans, they truly learned understanding, tolerance, and harmonious cooperation. We praise the Lord with one heart, connected by His love, bearing witness to His grace to one another!

2.”Faith and Hope”: Steadfastly Waiting for the Lord

Over the next month, the Cantonese spiritual formation course has begun. Simultaneously, all Mandarin students in SF will have the opportunity to participate in the “Emotional and Spiritual Formation” program. Starting with silent practice, students will resolve to make room in their hearts for God, become aware of and reflect on their deepest emotions, and carefully experience the growth momentum the Lord is driving in each person’s life.

Furthermore, on April 1st (Wednesday, 5 PM PST), we will invite Teacher Lin Weiling to share a message and meditation practice for Lent. The Holy Spirit will personally lead and prepare hearts. As we reflect on the redemptive love of the cross and welcome the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we will recalibrate our relationship with God. We pray together: because of a deeper and greater longing for God, let us quietly wait before Him and worship Him in spirit and truth!
