SCM Prayer letter July 2025

Pleroma Schools for Girls:

Thanksgiving:

1. Thank God for giving the 9th grader of the PSG the opportunity to visit the S21 Museum. Through this trip, they can learn more about Cambodia’s history and learn the true meaning of peace in misery.
2. Thank God for allowing the choir of the PSG primary school performed wonderfully in the Christian Union School Music Festival.
3. Thank God, the second semester exams of Grade 9 and Grade 12 were successfully completed and all students passed! We also submitted our results to the Ministry of Education as scheduled. Thank you to all the teachers and administrative colleagues for working together to complete these tasks.
   

   

   

Prayer requests: 

1. Please pray for the upcoming national exams for the 9th grade students from July 14 to 16, 2025. May God give them wisdom and faith and face challenges bravely.
2. Please prepare for the second semester exam for the 6th grade teacher.
3. In recent years, the Cambodian Education Bureau has carried out multi-party reforms and has a good idea. But sometimes it takes too short to notify the school to make the modification. For example: the date is temporarily changed a few days before the exam and the school is required to submit a report in advance, which is completely different from the school calendar that the school has already planned and prepared. Please pray to God that the local Government (Khan) will not change its plans frequently, so that we can better prepare and arrange things, so that we can cooperate with implementation more calmly.

Pleroma Home for Girls & Pleroma Women Ministry:

Thanksgiving:

1. Thank God, one of the girls in Girl’s Home successfully completed the entire treatment process, and the care and follow-up work after returning to the family was successfully completed. May God personally lead her future life journey, give her the strength to continue working hard, be able to return to Phnom Penh to complete her high school studies, and even have the opportunity to go to college.
2. Thank God for the smooth presentation of the Women’s Ministries Report on the Second Season 2 to the local government. 

Prayer requests:

1. The Girl’s Home and Women’s Ministry Office will move to the new location at the same time in early July. I hope God will keep the relocation process going smoothly. May the Lord keep the hearts of the girls and colleagues so that everyone can adapt to the new environment.
2. A House Warming party will be held on July 18, and new local government officials and other friendly agencies will be invited to attend. May God protect the activity and go smoothly.
3. Please pray for the MOU renewal process of the MoU renewal process of Girl’s House and the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSVY) and hope that everything goes smoothly.

Pleroma Community Center:

Thanksgiving: 

1. Thanks to the Lord, the kindergarten’s sports day and outdoor teaching activities were successful and smooth, full of joy, and were also protected by God and ended safely.
2. Thank God, students of the weekend interest class (Hobby) attended stably, and some students even took the initiative to invite friends to participate, which was really full of grace.
   
   

Prayer requests:

1. The weekend class will hold a special “PCC Got Talent” event on July 13 and 20. Please pray for this event. May God give students faith and joy and bravely show the talents given by God; and also ask the Lord to keep the entire preparation process smooth and the colleagues wisely arrange all matters.
2. Please pray for the short-term mission team from Hong Kong that will come to visit and participate in service. May God give them peace on their journey and receive abundant results and blessings in their local service.
