Social Concern Ministry
- There are two major festivals in Cambodia in April, one of which is the New Year, when Cambodians usually return home to reunite with their families. Thanks to God’s protection, our co-workers and those we serve all spent a happy Cambodian New Year with their families.
- Another major festival in April is Easter. Thank God for allowing us to reflect deeply on the meaning of Easter with our ministers through various celebrations.

Pleroma Schools for Girls:
hank God! We have a group of patient and loving teachers who not only impart knowledge but also shape the healthy character and mind of our students.
Prayer Requests:
- The Girls’ Secondary School will hold a public speaking competition in English and Khmer. Please pray for the students who are participating, and that they will enjoy and have fun in the process, both in preparation and in the competition.
- Two high school students dropped out this month: one in grade 9 and one in grade 11. May God watch over their lives and protect them so that they can continue to walk in the true way.
- Pray for the Primary School Staff Development Day, that they will grow in their spiritual knowledge of God and that they will remain motivated and continue to work hard in their roles as teachers.
Pleroma Home for Girls & Pleroma Women Ministry:
Thank God! The social worker team successfully rescued a girl and her mother from a violent situation and arranged for them to live in a dormitory of a friendly institution.
Prayer Requests:
- Co-workers often travel across states and provinces to follow up on the situations of those they serve. Pray that God will protect the safety of co-workers.
- Please pray especially for the girl who is about to go to court. Ask God to strengthen her faith and protect all her inner feelings.
- Pray that our colleagues will have enough flexibility to handle serious and sensitive cases, especially court cases, which sometimes require facing powerful perpetrators.
Pleroma Community Center:
Thanks to God’s grace and guidance, PCC co-workers have a wonderful partnership and can serve our God with one heart and one mind.
Prayer Requests:
- Please pray for the community sports day meeting on May 25th. May God bless the students and teachers to have a good time and keep everyone safe from harm. Please also pray for our preparations.
- Please pray for our teenagers, some of whom are planning to drop out of school due to the emotional upheavals of puberty. Pray that their hearts will remain pure and full of love, and free from inappropriate thoughts, words, and actions.
- Please pray for us to apply for kindergarten registration from the government, and ask God to keep the application going smoothly.
