Pleroma Missions in Cambodia
Things to be thankful for in 2024:
There are many personnel changes in 2024: board members, missionaries, social workers, counselors, teachers, house mothers, etc…. Although we are reluctant to part with, we thank God for allowing the team to slowly adapt and get on track, and for adding new people to participate in the ministry and learn to coordinate with each other.
Outlook and prayers for 2025:
May God lead the new team just as He led the previous team; just as God promised Joshua: “No one will be able to stand before you all the days of your life; just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Joshua 1:5)
Pleroma Schools for Girls：
Things to be thankful for in 2024:
- Thank God! The entire school year is filled with grace and truth.
- The students enjoyed campus life and all passed the on-campus and off-campus public examinations with passing results.
Outlook and prayers for 2025:
- The year 2025 is an important milestone for the institution as Pleroma School for Girls will finally be able to offer a complete education from Grade 1 to Grade 12. Pray that God will protect the 12th grade students to successfully pass the national examination.
- Pray that God will give teachers wisdom and love, continue to work hard, care for, cultivate and educate our girls.
- Please pray especially for the primary school’s fire drill on January 10th. May God protect the safety of all teachers and students.
Pleroma Home for Girls & Pleroma Women Ministry：
Things to be thankful for in 2024:
- Thank God for watching over the transformation process of “Home for Women” into “Women Ministry”, allowing our shelter services to smoothly transform into “community”-based whole-person healing and reconstruction services, and community prevention of human trafficking.
- Thank God for protecting and caring for the physical, mental and spiritual recovery of the girls. In 2024, 10 girls have successfully returned to the community to adapt to their new life.
2025 Outlook and Prayer:
- Please pray for “Home for Girls ” to have a new home. Currently, the home can only serve 18 girls at the same time, but the local needs in Cambodia are huge. Please pray that God will use our organization greatly so that we can have a larger place and more places to serve more girls who have been trafficked and sexually assaulted.
- May God continue to lead the “Women Ministry” to continue to develop in a new direction, so that our service can affect the lives of more Cambodian women, so that they can experience God’s deep love and enjoy physical, mental and spiritual freedom in the Lord and can live independently.
- A co-worker in the “Women Ministry” suffered from depression and had auditory hallucinations that told her to jump from high places. She was domestically abused by her parents when she was a child. Due to a recent case she handled, the trauma from the past resurfaced. Currently she has sought medical treatment and is being treated with medication. Please pray for her spiritual healing.
Pleroma Community Center：
Things to be thankful for in 2024:
Thank God for a fruitful year. In 2024, we launched the K2 class. Now, together with the K3 class, a total of more than 60 children are learning knowledge and understanding God’s words in our kindergarten class.
2025 Outlook and Prayer:
- Thank God for allowing us to add two male teachers. One has arrived in December and the other in February. We ask God to use their status as “brothers” to influence the lives of the students.
- The center will organize outdoor activities for children in the community. Pray that God will allow the participants to enjoy His protection and keep everything safe while enjoying the activities.
