SCM Prayer letter October 2024

  1. The first retreat for Cambodia’s full-time staff was successfully concluded with a total of 73 participants. The theme this time was One Vision, One Heart & One God, and 95% of the activities were handled by local staff. Three days and two nights, 5 worship services, two message sharings, and multiple team-building activities; and on the second night, each service unit used a drama to bring out the daily operations of their ministries, allowing other staff to understand the entire organization work and development. Finally, long-term service awards were presented to co-workers who had served for 5 and 10 years. The scene was quite touching and witnessed God’s leading step by step.

  2. The handover ceremony of the second house built for the children has been successfully carried out. The rural area where the house is located this time has a serious drug problem. When the co-workers of the house visited to conduct community education work, there were drug sellers nearby. I hope that this home can become a testimony of God’s grace and a channel for the circulation of God’s love.
