SCM Prayer letter November 2024

Thanksgiving

Harvest of Thanks Gala The Thanksgiving celebration was successfully held on October 25th. Thank God for leading the Pleroma Missions team to serve girls and families in Cambodia over the past 14 years. It started with a few co-workers and now has nearly 100 co-workers. God’s grace has never left Pleroma Missions team, nor has it left Cambodia, His beloved place. During the celebration, we thanked the founders of the ministry, Debbie and Lily, for their faithful and dedicated service over the past 14 years. Although they left the field, they firmly believed that God would continue to use them. May God take care of their health and allow them to continue serving in different positions.

Pleroma Missions in Cambodia

New personnel; new coordination. May God help us adapt to our new positions and serve with one heart and one mind.

  1. Field director Debbie retired from the position of Field Director at the end of October. May God take care of her body and allow her to be healthy enough to continue serving Pleroma Missions in other positions.
  2. Deputy Field director Heather was promoted to Field director and primary school principal. She prayed that God would give her perseverance and the ability of God’s presence so that she could have wonderful cooperation with God, two missionaries and nearly 100 local co-workers.
  3. Please pray for the participation of new missionary Maggie and husband Tommy. Ask God to let them find their place and serve well the people God has given them to serve.
  4. Please pray for local colleague Sarou’s promotion to middle school principal and her new teacher leadership team. May they have wonderful cooperation in serving middle school teachers and students.
  5. We hope that new teachers in middle schools and kindergartens and new social workers in the “Girls’ Home” can integrate smoothly, and I hope that they can know the Lord Jesus here.

Pleroma Schools for Girls:

  1. Please pray for students as they enter the new school year. We hope they can abide by school rules and study hard; pray that God will protect their hearts from being tempted and walk on the right path.
  2. Some parents have been unwilling to pay tuition for a long time. Please ask God to guide us and teach us how to help those students.

Pleroma Home for Girls & Pleroma Home for Women:

  1. Please pray for the health and readjustment of the girls who have just returned from their hometowns.
  2. Please pray for the three women who are undergoing vocational training and ask God to help them successfully learn work skills suitable for them.
  3. The Cambodian government regularly sends personnel to non-profit organizations to conduct audits and quality control inspections. Pray that God will keep the testing at “Girls’ Home” and “Pleroma Women Ministry” going smoothly.

Pleroma Community Center:

  1. Prayers for kindergarten and weekend services. May God bless the students to study well and enjoy their time at school.
  2. Pray for community service and ask God to lead PCC to spread the gospel in the community and serve the surrounding residents.
