SCM Prayer letter March 2026

Pleroma Schools for Girls

Thanksgiving:

  1. We thank God for protecting primary and secondary schools and ensuring the smooth completion of the first semester exams. Special thanks to the teachers for their diligent preparation before the exams, and for conveying the importance of “honesty” to students through a drama during morning assemblies, encouraging them to uphold honesty and integrity during the exams. We thank God for guiding the entire examination process, ensuring its smooth completion in a fair and orderly atmosphere.
  2. We thank the Lord for His grace and blessings, and SUSU 10K donated to support our organization. On the day of the event, students served as cheerleaders, and primary school teachers and secondary school students participated in the 5K race. Two high school students achieved excellent results, placing fourth and fifth respectively; secondary school principal Sarou also won third place in the 10K girls’ group, for which we are truly grateful.
  3. We thank God for enabling the secondary school to successfully hold a sports day before the exams. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with both the winning teams and participating students being very engaged and happy.
  4. We thank God for sending different guests to assist in the preliminary rounds of English Public Speaking and English Reading/Storytelling. The guests offered many valuable suggestions to the students, helping them to improve and look forward to an even more exciting performance in the upcoming finals.

Prayer Requests:

  1. Please pray for the start of the new school year. With new teachers and students joining the school this year, we ask God to help them smoothly adapt to school life and build positive interpersonal relationships.
  2. Please pray for students from disadvantaged families, asking God to remember their needs, grant them sufficient strength to face complex family circumstances, and protect them so they can still focus on their studies.
  3. Please pray for the health of teachers and students during the hot season, asking God to protect their health. Also, please pray especially for secondary school teachers Sophoeun and Sophara, who have been ill for several weeks, asking God to heal them and grant them a speedy recovery.
  4. Please pray for the English, Khmer, and Mathematics competitions to be held in secondary schools on March 31st. We ask God to grant the participating teachers and students wisdom and strength so they can perform well in the finals.
