Purpose of Pleroma Home for Women (PHW)

Pleroma Home for Women (PHW) Community Home is an extension of Pleroma Home for Girls (PHG). PHW serves as a transitional home for survivors aged 18 and up, including victims of trafficking for sexual and labor exploitation, survivors of sexual abuse, individuals facing domestic violence with mental health problems, and repatriated victims of trafficking from other Asian countries. PHW seeks to provide quality care and holistic services, including spiritual nurturing, to facilitate their complete recovery and independence. The ultimate goal is their eventual full reintegration into society.

The Missions of Pleroma Home for Women (PHW)

Counseling and recovery

To provide safety and secure subsidized accommodation, intensive counseling, psychological services for mental and physical recoveries, medical and hygienic education, for the women for a maximum stay of two years.

Nurturing independence

To nurture the growth of independence of women with the Individual Achievement Plan (IAP) by developing the well-being, resilience, training, life and vocational skills, and economic empowerment, to gradually reintegrate into the community and the attainment of “sustainable freedom” and will no longer be vulnerable to the commercial sexual exploitation.

Repatriation services

To provide opportunities for survivors of sexual and labor trafficking from surrounding countries to return to their homelands.

Spiritual Nurturing

To minister the love of God and build relationships with them in order to bring restoration, hope, care, transformation, and dignity.

Human rights education

To increase the awareness of their human rights, victim rights, laws on trafficking, safe and secure employment etc.

Rehabilitation assistance

To provide and support capital for small business start-ups, resolve disputes, and subsidize short-term independent living in a sanitary and hygienic environment.
