We thank God for renewing us through personal spiritual formation and discipline, and for enabling us to support and build one another up as we journey together. Through service, we expand our lives and horizons, becoming together a spiritual temple belonging to God.
- Prayer for Personal Rooting in God
Registration for the second stage of the Spiritual Formation course (SF2) for North America and Asia has concluded. In October, participants will begin the “Life Reorientation” phase, reviewing their lives in God’s light and experiencing healing and renewal. May God help each participant to be deeply rooted in Him—not only saved by grace but also living by grace—and to integrate the spiritual disciplines they have learned into their daily lives, making their lives like a well-watered garden and a spring whose waters never fail.
- Prayer for Collaborative Service
The newly formed team of group leaders began communicating in late August, getting to know one another and listening to each other’s expectations and needs. May God lead the team as they serve in the new academic year—covering Mandarin and Cantonese spiritual formation courses, seasonal meditation series, and more—to remain united and focused on the Lord’s commission, working in harmony as vessels fit for the Master’s use.
- Prayer for the Body of Christ at FiCF
The FiCF Conference will be held from September 25 to 27. SFM faculty members Minister YiChing Lin, Rachel Li, and Minister Wendy Choy will share in the “Thematic Workshops,” and an SFM promotional booth will be set up during the event. May the Lord watch over every FiCF Conference attendee as they join fellow believers in celebrating FiCF’s 25th anniversary, witnessing Christ’s work in individual lives and the community, and becoming a blessing to God’s kingdom.
