Social Concern Ministry

Thanksgiving: 

  1. All Staff Become Christians: We thank God, the security guards of Girls’ Home and Women’s Ministry came to faith during the retreat. Currently, all staff members at the home are Christians, serving the Lord with one heart and mind.
  2. Rejuvenated Through Retreat: We thank God for ensuring the successful completion of the retreat for the staff of Girls’ Home and Women’s Ministry, allowing them to rest and renew their bodies and souls.                     
  3. Peaceful Preservation During Festivals: We thank God for ensuring that those we serve and our staff had wonderful gatherings and enjoyment during the Easter and Cambodian New Year activities in April, and for protecting everyone’s safety when going out.
  4. Smooth Construction of Facilities: We thank God that the construction of the new playground at the community center is progressing smoothly and is currently under construction as planned.
The coworkers rejoiced and were happy for the newly arrived Christian security guards.
Elementary school Easter activities

Prayer Requests:

  1. Physical and Mental Well-being: Please pray for the physical strength, wisdom, and spiritual life of all staff members in each department. Pay special attention to the health and recovery of Kim Sang, the director of the Girl’s Home, after her surgery.
  2. Team Cohesion and Wisdom: Pray that God grants each ministry team a unified heart, and that they possess the humility, ability, and wisdom from God in handling student discipline, home visits, and collaboration with official agencies (MOU renewals).
  3. Recruitment: Pray that God prepares suitable candidates for the community center and school, especially staff members capable of weekend part-time teaching.

 

Pleroma Home for Girls & Pleroma Women Ministry

Secondary School:

  1. University Preparation: Please pray for the preparations for Year 12 students’ Career Day and university visits, asking God to guide them on their future path.
  2. End-of-Term Activities: In the coming months, there will be graduation ceremonies, evangelistic camps, and student trips. Pray that God will grant wisdom for everyone to plan well, enabling students to encounter God during these activities.
  3. Disciplinary Committee: Please pray for the staff of the school’s disciplinary committee, asking God to strengthen and patiently guide students with behavioral problems back on the right track.

Primary School:

  1. Home-School Collaboration: Pray that God will grant good communication and trust between teachers and parents, allowing them to jointly focus on the children’s growth.
  2. Teacher-Student Relationships: Pray that God will protect and support teachers and students in their mutual learning and growth.

Pleroma Home for Girls  

  1. Justice: Please pray for the two girls’ court appearances in the next two weeks, asking God to uphold justice and ensure a fair judgment.
  2. Finding the Lost Sheep: Please pray for the girl currently outside the center, asking God to protect her safety and move her heart so she can safely return to the center.
  3. Frontline Protection: Please pray for the social work team’s safety and well-being during community visits and collaborations with government departments.

Pleroma Women Ministry

  1. Life Reconstruction: Pray that God will heal women affected by sexual exploitation and human trafficking, soothe their wounds, and restore their dignity and identity in the Lord.
  2. Self-Reliance: Pray for the four women currently undergoing vocational training, asking God to open a path for them to persevere in completing their training and successfully obtain new job opportunities.
  3. Legal Aid and Courage: Pray that God will grant courage and peace to women who need to testify in court, allowing them to experience God’s presence and justice in the legal process.

Pleroma Community Center

  1. Playground Construction: Pray that the new playground will be completed smoothly in May, so that children can have a safe space to play as soon as possible.
  2. School Building Progress: Please pray for the handover procedures of the new school building at the community center. Ask God to ensure a smooth review and processing of government documents so that we can move in as soon as possible and begin the subsequent design and decoration work.
