1. Giving Thanks for the “Gift of Life”
We thank the Lord of Emmanuel for personally gathering His beloved children during Advent last year, leading us through four online meditation meetings entitled “Waiting for the Light,” and seven weekly devotional audio recordings on various themes (see SFM 2025 Advent). This guided us not only to welcome Christmas but also to welcome Christ dwelling within us. This gift of life from God touches us with light, peace, joy, and love, and invites us to respond to His loving call.
2. Entrusting Our Lives to the “Season of Life”
At the beginning of the new year, please pray for all participants. In the SF1 and SF3 courses, you will continue to learn and practice topics such as “Prayer of Return,” “Scripture Meditation,” “Integration of Focused Service and Spiritual Shaping,” and “Social Concern.” We pray that the Lord will personally guide and set the tone according to His time, so that in this season of spiritual transformation, the participants may remain closely connected to the Lord, undergoing both demolition and building, allowing their lives to be shaped in His hands and experience a profound transformation.
3. Pray for Seizing “Opportunities for Life”
This month, registration will begin for the “2026 Silence Camp” and the Cantonese spiritual shaping course “The Path of Transformation: Starting from the Heart, Walking with God.” May the Holy Spirit move brothers and sisters in need to seize these opportunities to encounter God and grow in their lives, and to register enthusiastically. We also ask that you pray for the teachers who are preparing the courses, that the Lord will grant them heavenly wisdom and a life testimony, making them a blessing to all.
