Social Concern Ministry
Thanksgiving:
Thank God! Let the team have good communication, and we can coordinate and serve each other more and more.
Prayer items:
- May will start the rainy season. May God protect the co-workers and the people we serve. May they be safe when driving and going in and out. May everyone’s place of residence not be affected by floods.
- Starting from June, we will successively receive short-term mission teams to serve in the organization. May God protect their journey. We hope that each short-term mission team member can experience more of God’s presence in the field and witness His wonderful work on our co-workers and the people we serve.
Pleroma Schools for Girls:
Thanksgiving:
- Thank God! Let us successfully complete the Environmental Protection Day event in the primary school, where students learned how to protect the world of Heavenly Father.
- Thank God! Let us successfully complete the first Outstanding Student Competition in the secondary school, including: English speech, Khmer speech, and mathematics competition; the participants performed very well. Thank God for giving us abundant resources to hold this event. May He continue to build students’ confidence through various activities.
Prayer requests:
- Ask God to protect the Outstanding Student Competition in the primary school in June, especially in terms of weather. Since the primary school does not have enough sheds to cover the space, pray for good weather during the competition during this rainy season.
- Ask God to add strength to the students in grades 9 and 12 in the secondary school, so that they can have a good performance in the school exams in June. Please also pray for the teachers in charge, may they all know how to effectively help students prepare for the exams.
- The secondary school needs to hire a new administrator. Ask God to give us a co-worker who loves the Lord, is honest, and is willing to serve the school.

Pleroma Home for Girls & Pleroma Women Ministry:
Thanksgiving:
Thank God for allowing us to have a good cooperative relationship with the local government and organizations that care about women’s affairs and provide legal aid, so that we can help our service recipients smoothly.
The house where the Girl’s Home is currently located is quite dilapidated. Thank God! We have rented a suitable house and plan to move to the new address in early July.
Prayer requests:
- Two girls from the Girl’s Home returned home on their own without informing our staff. Thank God that both of them are safe now (one of them rode a bicycle for more than ten hours to get home). May God give the staff wisdom to help them return to the community and find suitable jobs. May God also protect their safety in the community and their physical, mental and spiritual needs.
- The Girl’s Home is currently processing documents for a homeless girl. The procedures are quite difficult. May God personally guide every step of the process.
- May God protect the court cases of our service recipients, and may God’s righteousness be present.
- May God bless the community education carried out by the women’s ministry in the village, and may it enhance the residents’ awareness of protecting women.
